St. John's is an exciting new neighbourhood for Manchester, which will see Allied London transform the old ITV site into a city-centre quarter for art, music, film, culture, media, technology and living. As a multi-layered and evolving scheme, it was up to us to distil and simplify the story for a diverse audience.
Introducing the A-Z of St John's. Based around one of the most familiar ways to navigate the city (the A-Z), we created an animated alphabet of words that allude to features, landmarks, people, lifestyles and activities that you might find at St John's. Thought provoking and playful, the animation brings the vision to life through a tapestry of animated artworks that paint a broad picture of the development, its unique cultural heritage and the new communities it will cultivate.
